    Our Commitment

At Velobet, we believe that gambling should always be an enjoyable form of entertainment — never a source of stress, financial hardship, or emotional distress. We are committed to promoting responsible gambling practices and providing you with the tools, information, and resources you need to stay in control of your play.

We recognize that while the vast majority of our players gamble responsibly, some individuals may develop difficulties. That is why we invest in prevention, detection, and support at every level of our operation.

    Know the Facts

Before you play, it is important to understand a few fundamental truths about gambling:

    • The house always has an edge. Casino games and sports betting are designed to generate revenue for the operator over time. No strategy can guarantee consistent profits.
    • Outcomes are random. All casino games on Velobet use certified Random Number Generators (RNG). Past results have no influence on future outcomes. Each spin, hand, or round is independent.
    • Gambling is not a way to make money. Treat gambling as entertainment — like going to the cinema or a live event — and set a budget accordingly.
    • Chasing losses does not work. If you are losing, increasing your bets to try and recover will most likely lead to larger losses.

    Responsible Gambling Tools

Velobet provides a comprehensive set of tools that you can activate at any time from your account settings. You do not need to contact support to use these tools — they are available directly in your account.

    Deposit Limits

Set a maximum amount you can deposit on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. If you try to deposit more than your set limit, the transaction will be blocked. Decreasing your limit takes effect immediately. Increasing your limit takes effect after a 24-hour cooling-off period.

    Loss Limits

Set a maximum amount you are willing to lose within a daily, weekly, or monthly period. Once the limit is reached, you will be unable to place further bets until the period resets.

    Wager Limits

Set a maximum total wager amount for a daily, weekly, or monthly period. This helps you control how much you are putting into play, regardless of wins or losses.

    Session Time Limits

Set a maximum duration for each gambling session. When your time limit is reached, you will receive a notification and be logged out automatically. This helps prevent extended play sessions.

    Reality Checks

Receive periodic on-screen notifications reminding you how long you have been playing and how much you have wagered, won, or lost during your session. You can set these reminders to appear at intervals of your choice.

    Cooling-Off Period

Take a temporary break from gambling for a set period (24 hours, 48 hours, 7 days, 30 days, or up to 6 months). During a cooling-off period:

    • You will not be able to log in or place bets
    • You will not receive any marketing communications from us
    • You can still contact support if needed
    • Your account balance and any pending withdrawals remain unaffected

Once the cooling-off period expires, your account will be reactivated automatically unless you request otherwise.

    Self-Exclusion

If you need a longer break, you can self-exclude from Velobet for a period of 6 months, 1 year, 3 years, or permanently (minimum 5 years). During self-exclusion:

    • Your account will be fully suspended
    • You will not be able to log in, deposit, wager, or access any games
    • All marketing and promotional communications will stop
    • You will not be able to create a new account
    • A permanently excluded account cannot be reopened

To self-exclude, contact our support team via live chat or email at support@velobet.com. Self-exclusion requests are processed within 24 hours.

Important: Self-exclusion from Velobet applies only to this platform. If you wish to self-exclude from other gambling sites, you will need to contact those operators separately or use a national self-exclusion scheme if available in your jurisdiction (e.g., GamStop in the UK, OASIS in Germany).

    Recognizing Problem Gambling

Problem gambling can affect anyone, regardless of age, gender, or background. It is important to recognize the warning signs early. You may have a gambling problem if you:

    • Spend more time or money on gambling than you intended
    • Feel restless, irritable, or anxious when trying to stop or reduce gambling
    • Gamble to escape stress, boredom, loneliness, depression, or other emotional problems
    • Chase losses by increasing your bets after losing
    • Lie to family, friends, or others about the extent of your gambling
    • Borrow money, sell possessions, or go into debt because of gambling
    • Neglect work, studies, relationships, or personal responsibilities due to gambling
    • Have tried to stop or cut back but cannot
    • Feel guilty, ashamed, or depressed after gambling
    • Need to gamble with increasing amounts of money to feel the same excitement

If any of these apply to you, we strongly encourage you to use our responsible gambling tools and/or reach out to one of the professional support organizations listed below.

    Tips for Gambling Responsibly

    1

Set a budget before you play and stick to it. Only gamble with money you can afford to lose.

    2

Set a time limit for each session. Take regular breaks.

    3

Never chase losses. If you are losing, walk away and come back another day.

    4

Do not gamble when emotional. Avoid gambling when you are upset, stressed, tired, or under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

    5

Balance gambling with other activities. Make sure gambling is just one of many things you do for entertainment.

    6

Understand the games you play. Read our blog guides to learn how games work, including odds, RTP, and volatility.

    7

Use our tools. Set deposit limits, loss limits, and session reminders. There is no shame in using them — they are there to help.

    8

Talk to someone. If gambling is causing you concern, speak to a friend, family member, or a professional support service.

    Our Internal Measures

Beyond the player-facing tools, Velobet also implements the following internal responsible gambling measures:

    • Staff training: All customer-facing team members receive regular training on identifying signs of problem gambling and handling player interactions with care and empathy.
    • Marketing compliance: We do not target our marketing at vulnerable individuals or minors. All promotional materials include responsible gambling messaging.
    • Monitoring: We use behavioral monitoring tools to identify players who may be at risk, including unusual deposit patterns, extended session lengths, and rapid loss chasing. When risk indicators are detected, our team may reach out proactively.
    • Collaboration: We actively engage with responsible gambling organizations and contribute to industry-wide initiatives promoting safer play.
